City of San Antonio Animal Care Services Facility
As part of a bond package passed in 2004, this $8.5 million project replaced the citys aging and cramped facility for the animal control division of San Antonios Public Health Department.
Built on a new 15 acre site, the 14 building facility includes an administration building with a welcome center, education and meeting facilities, triage unit, kennels for dogs, cats and other animals, and a get acquainted area for potential adopters to meet the animals.
